Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Rén Gifts Limited. By accessing or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. General
1.1. These Terms & Conditions apply to all transactions made on rengifts.com, operated by Rén Gifts Limited (BR No. 80611021), registered in Hong Kong at Flat 5, 4/F, Won Hing Building, 74-78 Stanley Street, Central, Hong Kong.
1.2. Rén Gifts Limited reserves the right to update these terms and our prices at any time without prior notice.
1.3. In these Terms, "you" and "sender" refer to the customer who places and pays for the order. "Recipient" refers to the person the order is being delivered to, who may be a different person from the sender.
2. Products
2.1. All products are subject to availability. In the event of supply difficulties, we may substitute an item with one of equal or greater value, which may be done without prior notice given the time-sensitive nature of orders. If no suitable substitute is available, we will contact you and offer a refund.
2.2. Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Variations may occur in colour, size, or presentation due to differences in suppliers or delivery methods.
2.3. Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business. By ordering a gift containing alcohol, you confirm that you and the recipient are aged 18 or above. Alcohol gifts may only be delivered to a recipient aged 18 or above.
3. Pricing & Payment
3.1. Prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise. Delivery fees and additional charges are displayed at checkout.
3.2. We accept PayPal, all major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, American Express), and bank transfer.
3.3. Orders are processed only once payment is fully received and confirmed.
3.4. Customers paying with a card issued outside the United States may be charged in their local currency by their card issuer, based on the prevailing exchange rate at the time of transaction. Any foreign transaction or currency conversion fees are set by your card issuer and are not collected by Rén Gifts.
4. Delivery
4.1. We deliver to mainland China only. Orders may be placed from anywhere, but the recipient's address must be in mainland China. A Chinese-language delivery address is strongly recommended to reduce the risk of delivery error.
4.2. Orders must include accurate recipient details and a local mainland China contact number. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information.
4.3. Many of our items are fresh and perishable, so please ensure your recipient is available at the specified delivery window. If we cannot deliver – the recipient is unavailable, we cannot access the building, or there is no safe place to leave the item – we will need to return it to the florist and arrange another delivery. A redelivery fee may apply.
4.4. If the recipient remains unreachable and delivery is still outstanding (2) days after the specified date, we will remake the item to ensure freshness before redelivery. A remake fee will apply in this case.
4.5. If the sender or recipient requests a redirect to a different address after the order has been placed, and the new address is 50km or more from the original, an additional delivery fee may apply to cover the extra distance. If the item is perishable and the redirect means it can no longer be delivered fresh, a remake fee may also apply.
4.6. Delivery dates and time windows are estimates and not guaranteed. Weather, holidays, and other external factors may affect timelines. During peak periods such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Chinese New Year, and Christmas, same-day and next-day may not be guaranteed due to order volume.
5. Changes & Cancellations
5.1. Orders can be modified or cancelled up to 3 days before the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA).
5.2. Changes or cancellations are not possible once the order is en route. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
6. Returns & Refunds
6.1. Non-perishable items may be returned within 7 days of delivery, unopened, unused, and in their original condition.
6.2. Fresh and perishable items, including flowers and fruit baskets, cannot be returned. Quality issues are instead covered by our Freshness Guarantee – see Clause 7.
6.3. Personalised items and final sale items are non-refundable.
6.4. If an order arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us immediately. Resolutions may include a replacement, a remake (see Clause 4.4 for remake fees), or a refund.
7. Authenticity & Freshness Guarantees
7.1. All products are 100% authentic and sourced from trusted brands or authorised distributors.
7.2. Flower arrangements are guaranteed fresh, made-to-order, and delivered on the same day of creation. If dissatisfied, report it within 24 hours of delivery and we will provide a full refund or replacement.
7.3. This guarantee covers freshness at the point of delivery. It does not cover wilting caused by improper care after delivery, such as inadequate water or exposure to heat or direct sunlight.
8. Liability
8.1. Rén Gifts Limited is not liable for delays or losses caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters or third-party courier errors.
8.2. Our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Fraud & Order Refusal
9.1. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or hold any order suspected of fraud, including orders made with stolen payment details or false recipient information.
9.2. We reserve the right to decline service to any customer or order at our discretion, including in cases of abuse towards our staff, repeated unwarranted chargebacks, or where an item cannot legally be delivered.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1. All content on rengifts.com, including images, text, and branding, is the property of Rén Gifts Limited. Reproduction, distribution, or use without permission is prohibited.
10.2. You are responsible for any content you submit with your order, including personalised card messages. We reserve the right to refuse to include any message we consider offensive, unlawful, or inappropriate.
11. Privacy
11.1. Your personal information is collected, stored, and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11.2. We do not disclose a recipient's personal information to the sender, or the sender's identity to the recipient, without good reason. Two exceptions apply: operational contact needed to fulfil an order, such as confirming a delivery address or time window with the recipient, and cases where naming the sender is reasonably necessary for the recipient to accept the delivery – for example, where an unidentified parcel is likely to be refused.
12. Governing Law
12.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
